About Me

One of the greatest achievements in life has to be finding a way to earn a living doing something you really love. Photography is that to me. I have always been passionate about it and feel so lucky to be have been able to pursue this passion and turn it into a successful career.

Photography is about the art of observation. It is the ability to pre-empt a situation, visualise the image and press the shutter at the moment all of its elements come together. The linking thread between Henri Cartie-Bresson's talent for capturing the 'decisive moment' and today's press photographer who can tell a whole story in just a few shots is the abality to think, see and act with precision.

Whether the art of observation is something that can be taught or whether it is inherent in the photographer, it is a skill that can be sharpened and perfected. The modern bride and groom expect their wedding photographer to be able to produce beautiful, stylish images that tell the story of their day with little disruption. Today's photographer need to be organised, creative, passionate and able to work in a fast, friendly, unobstrusive manner.

The true photographic artist will not only create stunning images, but also be able to bring the images together as a coherent narrative. The final album should show the events unfolding like a cinematic storyboard. The pages should work in harmony and reflect both the personalities and the ambience of the day.

Me & My Passionate Wedding Photography

Shooting a wedding can be a daunting task unless we know what to expect and have a plan. While everyday wedding is unique, there are many similarities and my day can run like clokwork if I know when things are going to happen. That is why it is important to be in communication with the couple regarding the details of their wedding day - the times and locations of different events, how much time they are leaving for different photographs, and how the different locations will be lit. If I know as much as possible about the day plan, any issues can be addressed well in advance of the wedding rather than on the day itself.

A sense of place is often very meaningful to the couple

The philosophy for photographing your wedding day is simple: equal mixes of fun and professional quality. This means taking a little bit of the day for taking formal wedding shots then blending into the background and capturing moments that you might never have been aware of. Your wedding big day shouldn't be all about the photography, but about you and your partner having a great time enjoying in your wedding day.
